View groups & view admins
This will display which groups the establishment will see group resources for. For example group bundles.
It's also possible to see who the administrators are for these groups, who can make the changes to these resources.
Filtering authentication time limit
When USO user-based filtering is switched on in an establishment and users authenticate successfully, they are logged in for a 30 minute time period.
After 30 minutes, users will automatically get logged out of their escalated policy and the system may or may not be able to re-establish their authenticated access automatically. This is dependent on whether the user is accessing a secure site at the time the logout happens.
To stop staff users from getting automatically logged out after 30 minutes, the time limit can be changed . The additional options are either 60 minutes, 90 minutes or "End of the day". Setting to "End of the day" would result in authentication expiring at midnight.
The automatic time-out period for students is 30 minutes. This cannot be changed.
Guest Policy access
SchoolProtect has the capability to allow users visiting from other schools or establishments to be filtered by the policy their own establishment has defined for them.
Separate rules can be created for visiting staff and students.
By default, when guests log in, they will receive USO user based filtering policies set up by their own establishments, if these exist. If you do NOT wish to allow guests to pick up policies from their own establishments you can stop it happening by ticking the box either for staff or for students or both, that will stop them accessing any user policies other than the ones enforced by your establishment.
